Preventive Maintenance Account Manager

Location: San Jose, CA

The role of the Preventive Maintenance Account Manager is to prospect and acquire new preventive sales opportunities in a predetermined geographical area. The Preventive Maintenance Account Manager is responsible for developing relationships with landlords, facilities managers and property managers located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Preventive Maintenance Account Manager role requires an individual that is well versed in the maintenance requirements for a multitude of HVAC/mechanical equipment, including although not limited to, package units, split systems, chillers, cooling towers, CDA and vacuum systems. A successful Preventive Maintenance Account Manager will gain new customers, build continued relationships and provide qualified leads to the project sales team.

About the Role

Job Responsibilities

  • Contact prospective clients by cold calling, following up on leads, and networking.
  • Complete site surveys to develop labor and materials estimates to present to potential customers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of HVAC equipment and related products to recommend appropriate solutions to customer’s needs.
  • Work with project sales team to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Act as a point of contact with customers to answer questions and guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Complete sales reports, expenses, and related administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Maintain records of sales related activities.
  • Build relationships with clients and promote Therma and its services in a positive manner.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Two years of preventive maintenance sales experience in a related field of service
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or minimum of five years in the industry selling or servicing HVAC systems.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Drug free and able to pass Criminal Background Check
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Project a positive and professional image
